As a Ceramic Artist and Mixed Media Artist, I learn by pushing the boundaries of each technique, clay body, and type of firing. Working by hand, coiling and pinching, my pieces evolve through a meditative process. I enjoy the shapes created, the volume, the inner forms/inner space.
Found objects are inspiration, informing my ideas/decisions about the work.
My work is personal, but the imagery is universal, meant to be interpreted by the individual viewer.
