MEET THE ARTIST

I create original oil and watercolor paintings. I am an "Outsider", and never have had any training of any kind. I didn't start painting until I was 58. I am a Signature member of both the Philadelphia Water Color Society and the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. I have a detailed style such that my work is often mistaken for photos. I also so all of my own matting and mounting, and make all of my own frames from scratch. I also make floorcloths, which are paint-decorated canvasses traditionally used in lieu of carpets.
