MEET THE ARTIST

My love of flowers is expressed in watercolor and occasional mixed media. I love the transparency and ability to do detail work that watercolor allows. I have also been using the evolving technique of eco dyeing. I use botanical material and artfully place these materials on watercolor paper, boil and rinse and overpaint on the faint details revealed. This has been a wonderfully creative expression of my work. My painting has allowed for teaching on cruise ships, multiple shows, meeting fellow artists and many satisfying hours in my studio.
