MEET THE ARTIST

I make realistic still lifes and portraits using oil paints, watercolors, and collage/mixed media. I like to explore light, color, luminosity, translucency, and reflection. I usually incorporate text into my artwork. Often the text relates to themes of Christian faith, immigration, war, or women’s rights, all of which are personal to me. I write in several languages and in a variety of codes.
