MEET THE ARTIST

Judy DeSimone is a ceramic artist working in multiple hand building techniques using mid-fire stoneware, underglazes, oxides and gloss glaze. The inspiration for her three-dimensional vessels are pure fun. Playing with shape, space, texture, light, color and occasionally added objects. Holding on to the pure essence of delight motivate her artistic expressions.
The catalyst for her wall ceramics is manipulating relief, color and kinetic design. Taking a left turn when she should take a right is an important motivation in her art to manifest the unexpected
