"I have always been drawn to animals, especially the magnetic expression of their eyes and faces. My intention in my oil paintings is to capture a bit of whimsy along with my heartfelt respect for such extraordinary creatures. With nature studies, people or still-life, I love finding some magic in a simple moment and then focus on the classic beauty and essence."
