MEET THE ARTIST

I earned my BFA from The University of the Arts and started my career as an illustrator creating digital collages. I came to learn that I preferred to explore in Photoshop rather than follow the sketch I had created for the art director. Missing the tactile nature of traditional mediums, I began to create abstract art by layering acrylics, collage and drawing media. My work begins intuitively; I then use my design skills to respond to what is before me and refine the colors and composition. Often inspired by nature, my award winning work invites the viewer to contemplate their own connection to an imaginary landscape.
