MEET THE ARTIST

I work in mid range stoneware. All pieces are hand built and sculpted of clay. Multiple layers of colored slips and underglazes are applied before the bisque firing, and again after the bisque firing before it has a final firing to cone 5. Most pieces are then treated with a coating of beeswax which is applied molten and then heat set into the clay pores.
