My artistic journey is an exploration of identity, expression, and the complexities of human existence, inspired by the symbolism of the black and yellow emblem. I use this motif to delve into the raw core of individuality, stripping away societal layers to confront the existential questions that define our lives. Like a crash test dummy, I examine the tension between being both the subject and the observer of life, navigating the struggle between external influences and internal autonomy.
The circular emblem represents a canvas for the psyche, symbolizing the perpetual conflict between passivity and agency. It reflects the duality of human experience: sometimes feeling like a test subject, controlled by forces beyond our understanding, and other times assuming the role of the proctor, actively shaping one's own destiny. Through this lens, I explore the labyrinth of identity, seeking to understand who we are in the face of life's chaos.
Each brushstroke becomes an expression of this internal dialogue, embodying the existential questions that shape our humanity. The emblem, with its enduring symbolism, acts as a catalyst for introspection, offering a way to grapple with the uncertainties of existence. In embracing this symbol, I find a means of self-discovery and reflection, creating art that speaks to the universal truths of the human condition.
Ultimately, my work is a testament to the interplay between identity and expression, a visual exploration of the ongoing search for meaning in a world full of ambiguity.
