MEET THE ARTIST

I'm a textile artist. I've learned my title as dyer and colorist immersed in 50 some years of work.
My material is silk and the current work is shibori. The products I produce are a collection of on of a kind accessories , garments and interior commissions. The studio has two main dye labs for cold water dyes , Procion and hot dyes primarily Acid dyes. Silk fabrics are cut to style and each processed for color harmony design and texture. Multi layered dying , they may have three to five layers of variable. The sewing lab for construction is well honed collection of machinery,notions and tools.
