Still Life... Live!

I enjoy painting from life, whenever possible. I usually work in oils, and feel I get a fresher look when I am able to make alla prima creations (wet paint all in one sitting).

About the Demonstration

I'll set up a fresh flower still life of whatever happens to be growing on this May day. I'll start with a blank canvas, and block in my composition, using oil paint. I'll add color and increase paint thickness, to design my creation.
