My artwork ranges from figurative life drawings and paintings, to still lifes and plein air landscapes. I work in charcoal, pastel, and watercolor. In 1981 I graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Art Education. After college I studied privately with Rea N. Redifer in Chadds Ford, PA through 1983 and then again in the early 90’s. These days, when I’m not in my new space, you’ll find me at any one of a number of life drawing sessions throughout the area, continuing to push my understanding of the human form and fidelity of observation.
