Jury - 2023 CHESTER COUNTY STUDIO TOUR

My work operates at the intersection of architecture, sociology and visual art. Portraits, sculptures and installations are composed of building materials and domestic items. Multilayered concepts relating to identity and social constructs are presented through a variety of artistic mediums and processes.

Carving, collage, fabrication, printmaking, painting and drawing are utilized to render images and communicate narratives. Ascribing to the visual context of home as well as the ethos of homemade, the imagery and materiality of my work recounts a bequeathed normative that is embedded within the spaces we dwell.
