Jury - 2023 CHESTER COUNTY STUDIO TOUR

I primarily work in oils and my substrate of choice are birch panels. I use a number of techniques for my under painting to obtain my values. I work with soluble graphite and / or paint when I start a composition and will apply glazing techniques as one of my approaches. When I work with water soluble mediums I prefer a 300lb cold press paper as it withstands the various tools and techniques I use.
