I paint as connection, expression, voice, and conversation, memory, emotion.
Paint and mixed media layer, with movement and line, light and shadow, color, edge, and texture to expose and obscure the emotion and voice of the painting. After a period of personal and social turmoil, my current work strives to convey the serenity and peace I am able to find within myself.
My paintings invite connection to stillness.
