Jury - 2023 CHESTER COUNTY STUDIO TOUR

My medium as a ceramic artist, is working with soft, pliable, porcelain clay. I do both hand-building and wheel-throwing. I also make my own glazes and by layering them I create a design in motion.
I am inspired by the world around me. I feel a connection to the sea, to a sunset, a poem, a story, anything that raises my level of consciousness and gives me a sense of purpose inspires my work.
When someone holds my work in their hand’s I want them to understand that every piece I make is an expression of me. My pottery is unique, no two pieces are exactly alike they are one of a kind. I do the whole process myself. I start layering my ideas the moment I sit at the wheel and bring my designs to life.
