Jury - 2023 CHESTER COUNTY STUDIO TOUR

Contemporary paintings inspired by Indian folk art, my paintings are celebration of nature and everyday life. I enjoying incorporating different mediums in my work. While working on storytelling paintings inspired by Warli art, I use variety of things that mother nature offers like sand, grass, twigs, leaves to name few to create stucco like texture on canvas. I then deliver my stories via acrylic paints. While painting birds and animals, my preferred medium is gouache paint which bring out the brilliance of colors. I use handmade paper which avails the textural element to this paintings.
