I make watercolor and acrylic paintings of the spaces where people live. Domestic spaces provide an opportunity to paint geometric and organic shapes as well as patterns. Regardless of how much I improvise within my paintings, household items and architectural details are familiar enough for viewers to develop their own narrative of what is happening in the painting.
