I work mainly in the medium of encaustic. My work vacillates between pure abstraction and industrial inspired landscapes. Though in my recent work, I am aiming to meld the two together more. I work on many paintings at once and often get lost in the process of “finding” them. Juggling hot pots of wax and my blow torch, I build up layers and carve down to reveal what is underneath.
