Ceramics
The physical nature of working with clay, and its vast potential for creativity, has always held a fascination for me. The restorative and meditative benefits of working with clay is like seeing a new purpose reflected in every piece. Each piece invites questions about how it is used, how does it feel in your hands, and what does it tell us about the artist? You can see the artists hand in each piece, notice its quality, and its beauty. Pottery making is both a physical activity and a mind-blowing experience for me. It is tangible and real. My work has evolved over time in new and different ways by staying true to myself.
