LET'S VOTE!

Laurie Murray is primarily an abstract painter and metal sculptor whose work can be thought of as a celebration of art without restraints. There is almost always an architectural framework paying homage to her design background, then an infusion of color and energetic palette knife or brush stroke layers. For her figurative and other more realistic work, refinement and control eventually succumb to mood, communicated with spontaneous gesture, confident line and texture. Laurie is very excited to have been a founding member of Chelsea's newest gallery, Pictor, and a solo show there in March 2022.
