I am a representational oil painter. My subjects are people, places and things. My work has contrast, is colorful and I prefer to paint from life. The essence of the subject and the atmosphere of the place is apparent in my paintings. Simple still-life paintings are my favorite. I have been commissioned to paint portraits as well as ideas and concepts. My paintings have been helpful to and treasured by many.
