Amy Bruckner is a native of the Philadelphia suburbs and began her career as a mosaic artist 15 years ago. Amy has always been involved with one art form or another, from pottery to watercolor painting. She works with mostly with glass but also incorporates ceramic elements, stone, encaustic and alcohol ink painting. Viewing her work as "painting with glass", she uses a variety of substrates and even uses old, unplayable instruments as a canvas.
Amy works out of her home studio near Downingtown, PA. Her work has been shown in juried art shows – Downingtown Fine Arts Festival 2016, Art in Autumn in Weaverville, NC 2015 and 2016 and Chester County Studio Tour 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. She has also shown her work at Mala Galleria (now Square Pear) in Kennett Square, PA and the Pallette and The Page in Elkton, MD. Currently her work is displayed at Visual Expansion Gallery in West Chester, PA.
