I’m a lifelong artist whose work emphasizes how contrasting light and shadow define a subject and create a mood. Color also plays a large role in my paintings, adding to the emotional feel of my work. I often focus on local, Chester County subjects, sometimes including animals in their natural surroundings, although other subjects can also be appealing. I’m a member of the Delaware Valley Art League and the Chester County Art Association, exhibiting regularly in their shows and in the Yellow Springs Show, Art Ability Show, and in other regional exhibits.
