MEET THE ARTIST

The beauty I find in nature inspires my paintings of land, water, sky, and plants. I use soft pastels instinctively and quickly to capture the essence of what I’m seeing and to convey a sense of harmony. Many of my paintings feature scenes from parks and nature preserves near my home, and recently I’ve been exploring my own garden as a subject. I am captivated by sunrises and sunsets and enjoy painting shore scenes with colorful skies. I hope that my artwork communicates my lifelong love of nature, evokes a feeling of peace and joy, and transports the viewer to another place.
