ARTWORK must be original in design and executed by the applicant. All artwork must be professional quality. Each artist must accompany his own work. No commercial dealers, agents, kits, castings from commercial molds, or mass-produced items.

Unregistered County Studio Artists may not be displayed nor their works offered for sale.

 

FINE ART REPRODUCTIONS may be sold only if signed, numbered, and clearly marked “Reproductions.” All other work displayed must be ORIGINAL work created by the artist.

 

ACCEPTED ARTISTS must be committed to show during all event hours. 

 

HOST STUDIO: Each Host Artist must show in his/her own studio. All Host Applicants must have a studio in their county of application. Commercial storefronts and/or showrooms that are regularly open to the public during business hours are not eligible to participate. Please make sure the roads to your studio are accessible with no parking restriction and your neighbors are willing to cooperate with the large amount of visitors. It is recommended that you have liability insurance added to your homeowner's policy for the event.

 

Artists are responsible for collecting and paying to Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, Pennsylvania Sales Tax of 6%. The County Studio Tour reserves the right to reject any work it considers unsuitable.

 

EVENT FEES:

Application Fee: $30.00 (non-refundable)

Chester County:

Host Studio: $425  ($25 Reimbursement for every guest artist hosted) 

Guest Artist: $275

Other Counties:

Host Studio: $400  (charged after acceptance notification date) 

Guest Artist: $250  (charged after acceptance notification date)

 

Refunds:

50% Show Fee refund will be issued to ACCEPTED ARTISTS who cancel and notify the County Studio Tour AT LEAST 30 days after acceptance (received in writing). No refunds after that date.

 

No refunds will be made for any act of God, local authority or weather-related cancellations of the event.

The County Studio Tour reserves the right to reject any work it considers unsuitable. No refund will be given if artist is ejected from the event for violation of rules.
