I create original paintings in both oil and watercolor. My subjects include places and people from all over the US, with an emphasis on seaside and mountain scenes in New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Maine. I work in a pretty precise style, usually using smaller fine brushes. With a woodworking background, I make all of my frames from scratch, and follow through with matting and mounting. I also design and make custom floorcloths, bound pieces of heavy canvas, painted decoratively, to be used as floorcoverings. I am an "Outsider", never having had any lessons or training, and only started to paint at age 58.
