Painting
My art is way of expressing my deepest self, especially when words fail me. I’ve come to see that all my works have a beginning and an end and it is the art itself that tells me when it’s complete. For me, my art often expresses transformation and rebirth. It’s not surprising that I find much of my inspiration in nature where transformation is a story that constantly unfolds. My art is my way of bringing out more beauty in the world and a reminder that we’re not alone in our struggles. I enjoy the versatility of acrylic and that is my primary medium, but when I’m feeling spicy I add in chalk pastel and pen accentuate effects.
