MEET THE ARTIST

Terri L. Elliott is a watercolor and graphite artist. Her work has a very organic feel, and the love of nature and animals is apparent in her choice of subject matter. Her paintings show much detail. Her pet portraits capture the heart of the beloved pet. Terri studied art under a botanical artist while living in Minnesota, and showed her work in the Minneapolis area. Terri moved with her family to West Chester, PA in 2014 and is a member of the Delaware Valley Art League and The Haverford Guild of Craftsmen.
Growing up, Terri would sit and observe her mother painting with oil paints. She would see the blending and importance of color as her mother would build and create a piece of art. The love of drawing and painting is shared and encouraged by her family.
Terri has enjoyed the recent challenge of illustrating a children's book which was completed the spring of 2019. A Peanut's Tale ; The Journey of a Duckling on Children's Lake. The book is based in the small village of Boilings Springs, Pennsylvania, where she grew up.
