MEET THE ARTIST

As an enamelist and studio goldsmith, I create unique wearable art by uniting gold, silver, and
glass. My practice centers on the ancient art of fusing ground glass to metal, a demanding yet
rewarding process that produces pieces of profound color, depth, and varied texture. I
intentionally blend the graphic, illustrative lines of cloisonné wire with the nuanced detail
achieved through painting enamel. This integrated approach is a personal exploration that allows
me to combine color and metal in innovative ways. I find endless inspiration in the intricate
patterns of global textiles and the complex color arrangements found in nature.
