I was born in Suffolk County, New York and started receiving scholarships to art camps and classes at a young age. I began painting commissioned work in grade school. After high school I attended Bismarck (ND) State College and Kutztown (PA) University earning degrees in Graphic Design and Fine Arts. After college I worked in many arts related fields such as a jewelry setter and finisher, art gallery assistant, art instructor, and sign maker to name a few. I have been a full time mural painter since 1999, when I started Promiseland Murals, LLC. I have had many large commercial and residential projects in her portfolio such as St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in North Philadelphia, PF Changs Restaurant, Children’s Home of Reading Day School, Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia at King of Prussia and at Philadelphia, Julius Silvert corporate headquarters in North Philadelphia, Victorio’s Restaurant in North Coventry (PA), Malvern Pizza historical mural about the town of Malvern and the Malvern train bridge exterior murals, and many fine homes on the east coast. I have traveled as far as California and India to paint. In 2009, my work was displayed as part of the television show Extreme Home Makeover (Berks edition), and many mini makeovers in Berks County, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. I was involved in many Designing for Hope projects involving murals and painted a backdrop for Quaker City string band for the 2016 Mummers Parade; I also have volunteered teaching art for a scouting program for girls since 1994. I have recently begun painting my own work and have had one solo show and several joint shows throughout the suburban Philadelphia area. My studio and home are now in Birdsboro, PA where I reside with her husband and son. I have expanded my business to include artist in residencies in public schools, more portrait commissions, teaching art workshops, Children's book illustration and book cover art, and I also design a line of one of a kind up-cycled jewelry.
