MEET THE ARTIST

Rachel paints from the inside out, from stories gathered over time. Her works are filled with dark humor, reflecting on, and questioning the difficulties, the absurdities of life and social norms. Rachel's paintings are large scale, oil on linen, she works out the initial concept on the canvas, with many glazed layers. Her imagery contains a myriad of symbolism, giving new meaning each time one ponders her painting. Currently she is working on a new body work, exploring a more visceral truth.
