MEET THE ARTIST

I work in stoneware clay, hand thrown on the potters wheel. Pieces are then taken off the wheel, and some while still wet are altered by hand-building techniques. My pieces are functional, and glazed with my own hand mixed glazes. Some of my work is then fired in gas or electric kilns, but the majority are finished by firing in a salt/soda woodfire kiln.
