MEET THE ARTIST

Michael Ressler is a Montgomery County, PA artist who paints impressionistic landscapes in oil using both brush and painting knife, working with a limited palette of 6 colors. He typically paints in his home studio, working from his digital photos of local parks or the countryside. On nice days, Michael prefers working in Plein Air, where he can enjoy the weather and feel the immediacy and rush of completing the painting on site.
Michael received his B.S. in Art Education from Kutztown University and is currently teaching a weekly painting class in his Audubon studio and gallery.
