I work in both encaustic (molten wax) and oil with cold wax, primarily on cradled wood panels. Both mediums are created with multiple layers and frequently include collaged elements of original prints, found papers, or photography. Organic forms are inspired by plants, water, and local topography.

Though I was a fine arts major for two years, I changed course and had a long career in Denver, CO as an interior designer, specializing in health care interiors. My daily work included implementation of color, form, pattern, and other elements of design to create healing environments, as well as art consultation for over 1,000 selected works. Since retiring, I moved to Yardley, PA and have returned to my love of art, taking numerous classes and showing my art in multiple juried shows.
