My Art is about fabric and Color. I hand-dyed fine silks+ blends for Accessories+ Clothing. Procion and Acid dyes applied in colorways or extraction dye process using shibori techniques. Creating color effects or textures in very wearable styles.
I begin with fabric on bolts. For each style I cut each piece.Depending on the style I may pre-hem, dye or tye dye as a first step. Each style may be dyed twice more. Final work may pleating or hemming.
