I create original decorative works using hand building methods with mid fire ceramic clay that can be displayed indoors or outdoors. I often make a mold of a piece in order to make a series; each piece is hand glazed.
I amplify textural details using a variety of tools, carving and modeling techniques.
I like to combine geometric patterns and tessellations with realistic natural elements in my tiles.
Recently, I have been working on a series of faces in a variety of themes, such as nature, sun, moon, and fantasy.
