I work in kiln fired clay creating quirky figures that draw you in to deeply human stories. My pieces are poised between the safety of whimsy and the darkness of things we find hard to say. Each is hand sculpted and painted in underglaze washes, fired multiple times creating a gritty, illustrative quality.
