MEET THE ARTIST

I’m fortunate that I was encouraged from a young age by my parents and other elders to pursue creative endeavors. I’m thankful that I’ve always been able to surround myself with visual artists, poets, musicians, artisans, and other inventive and creative people. And I’m also thankful that I’ve always had the time, materials, and place to develop my artwork.
I approach creativity from many directions…Sometimes I make sculpture with wood, metal, or stone…sometimes I paint…or draw…or play music. The visual art I make is not created in one particular style or genre etc….and I can’t limit myself to making art one way because creativity is infinitely diverse. An example being that if you look at art as a flower garden, you’ll notice that a great looking garden has lots of different flowers…not just one kind of flower. So I don’t limit my way of making art…..and it’s a lot of fun doing art that way. I’ll continue to do my best, and if people enjoy it, that’s very fulfilling ….(and an audience who enjoys the art is another layer of extra fun too).
