MEET THE ARTIST

I am a Chester County, Pennsylvania, artist working in Watercolor and Oils. As a child I lived in a state park in the Finger Lakes area of up-state New York surrounded by trees, lakes, waterfalls, flowers and wildlife. This gave me an appreciation of the natural world which I now use as an inspiration for many of my paintings. I love painting flowers, landscapes, still lifes of fruits and vegetables or shiny, reflective objects. Representing light in its many forms in paintings is a challenge I enjoy.

While I am mostly self-taught, I have taken classes with a variety of local artists: Sarah Yeoman, Alice Meyer Wallace, Deena Ball for watercolor and Randall Graham for oil painting. I have exhibited in numerous juried shows in the area.
