I'm a pastelist enjoying plein air competitions as well as working in the studio. When not painting the landscape, I paint dog portraits by commission and run life drawing sessions. Pastels have been my medium of choice for the past 35 years, and I believe they serve me well especially when painting outdoors in a somewhat impressionistic style.
